Instructions
Sear
- Sear beef chunks in a hot pan until browned on all sides.
Cook
- Add the seared beef, baby potatoes, minced garlic, and beef broth to the slow cooker.
- Pour in the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Season with black pepper.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until smooth to make a slurry. Stir into the slow cooker.
- Cook for an additional 15 minutes until the sauce has thickened into a glossy gravy.
- Spoon the sauce over the beef before serving.
